My sister Karry sent me a very funny email this evening with amazing portraits that people actually paid money for during the 1970's. I shouldn't laugh too hard, for I'm sure such atrocities exist in my Mother's family albums (I seem to remember a particular sky blue suit that made me look quite fetching). But, since they're not scanned and posted on a website, I thought I would share one of Sheila and her siblings.

Wrapping up the holidays...

The lights have come down, the leftovers have been finished, and we are finally recapturing the living room from the beasts' Christmas booty. 2007 was filled with blessings and heartbreak, we hope 2008 brings peace for all of us. Accomplishments have already been great this year-Max has been sled riding and can pee in a toilet standing up, while Audrey can "raspberry" like a 3 Stooges and solved Euclid's 5th postulate. My good friends Ray & Fran started a blog last year following their pregnancy and culminating in the birth of their darling daughter Faye. I've enjoyed checking in over the months to track the stork. So, like millions of others I thought that our family (Grandmothers & Grandfathers) and friends would like to be updated more often with pictures instead of just phone calls. I'll try to update every week with new pictures of our beasts.
